Franny’s Pizzeria & Restaurant: Your Neighborhood’s Favorite Spot for Authentic Italian Pizza

I came here because Food IQ author Matt Rodbard posted on his story that this is the ”best grandma pie in NJ.” The next day, I had to try it and got the same thing he did: a grandma pie, half tipsy (vodka sauce). It’s a well-done, thin-crust pizza with light sauce, 5 stars if that’s your thing. The vodka sauce was amazing. $26 price was tough, losing a star for that.

Franny’s food is fabulous & the owner is both talented, devoted to the restaurant and her customers and kind. I just witnessed her dealing with an obnoxious young woman with grace and aplomb. Franny’s is an enormous asset to our community.

Outdoor ambience alone deserves 5 star. We ordered few slices of pizza, wrap and chicken Alfredo on spaghetti. Be aware their quantity, it’s huge. The lady who served was very kind. All that cost only 65 bucks.

Friendly neighborhood pizzeria serving one of the best pizzas in town. The grandma pizza and the capri pizza are the best and the homemade barley and mushroom soup was very flavorful. A must have in a cold wintery day.

Franny’s is always great! We had an event there last night. The room was such a great and private space. The catered food was all so delicious. They were accommodating to all our needs and Mya the owner is the best!! I can’t recommend enough for pizza or for your next party!!

We stopped in as we were passing through and it was a pleasant experience. There is no direct table service. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. I was kind of confused by this system because I observed food brought to the wrong table several times. The pizza was good. My wife thought the sauce was too sweet but I thought it balanced the saltiness of the cheese well. The meatballs were very good. They were tender and delicious. Unfortunately they were not a consistent size. We got a huge one and tiny one which was kind of annoying because they were expensive in my opinion. The price of the pizza was reasonable on the other hand so it made up for it. ***Feedback for owner, please find a system of tracking orders to tables since there is no true table service. Maybe consider table numbers or some other simple system.

Lived in Highlands all my life. For whatever reason never ate from this place until last night. Wanted to try multiple iconic Italian dishes...ordered Baked Ziti, Chicken Alfredo, and Cesar Salad along with Penne With Blackened Chicken..The food was AMAZING and it was delivered FRESH AND WITH EXTREME CARE The food was so well prepared and so homemade I couldn't believe it was takeout. I would definitely recommend and order again.
